SANTA CRUZ, CA – At approximately 7:00am, a number of police have arrived on-scene at the Kerr Hall occupation. No police have entered the building at this time.

The Kerr Hall occupation began on Thursday in response to a 32.5% fee hike passed by the UC Regents on the same day.

We will post updates to this story as it develops.

Upon request by UC Police, the protesters have left Kerr Hall. No arrests were made.
