@Ryn20, I am confused as to how you left this piece with the impression that this is a piece merely about a Facebook group. Perhaps you should read more than the last graph to gain a remotely accurate understanding of the story’s content.

guys, this is not a story about a facebook group, but about a student who is employing new media ideas to drum up some interest in sports. he also wants a basic website and app, and has some twitter followers too. if you don’t like stories about facebook i can put you in the time machine back to 2002 if you want. sorry.
