A car was overturned on Coolidge Drive on the UCSC campus yesterday afternoon. No injuries or deaths were recorded.

“The driver was basically trying to shift, and his rear tire slipped. It was wet out,” said UCSC police chief Nader Oweis. “He lost control, and that caused the vehicle to overturn.”

The single-vehicle incident occurred at 3:38 p.m. At the time of publication, the male driver remained anonymous.
