Hrmm... City on a Hill Press is a student-run, self-sufficient publication. The organization doesn't receive funding from campus administrative budgets and all members of the organization are students.

Personally, I think it's interesting to read about a wide variety of topics each week. There's certainly coverage about the ongoing changes and financial concerns with students and at UCSC, and with ongoing protests and the November Regents Meeting, there's more on this topic that's sure to come up soon. Having other stories, though, helps provide an even wider perspective on our community and our world.

If you feel there's something the paper isn't covering well enough, I'd recommend contacting the editorial staff at editors@cityonahillpress.com. They love to hear feedback.

I hope this helps!

[Disclaimer: As with all posts (including ones without this blurb, but I thought I'd include it anyway), they're the opinion of the noted author and may not necessarily represent the opinions of the organization, even if they're from CHP Staff.]

[P.S.: With all that said, let's try to bring this thread back on topic. Thanks! ^_^ ]

Why does City on a Hill Press cover issues in asia when students and staff at UCSC can't afford tuition? This is important, but GET REAL people. This student paper is fueled by the administration to divert our focus away from the problems facing us. WAKE UP
