What’s your reaction when you encounter a canvasser on campus?

“I usually tell them I’m busy, which I usually am. If I am not and it sounds interesting, I usually talk with them for a bit.” Nick Patel Second-year, Cowell Undeclared

“My headphones are usually in. I know if I really listen, I know that’s going to take time and I don’t want to be rude and walk away. When I do have time, I do try to listen. If it’s a petition, then that’s usually not a lot of work on my part, so I’m happy to do it.” Katrina Pantig  Second-year, Stevenson, Sociology
“I really like flyers and being handed them. I like seeing them there, because I like the option of declining or accepting. It’s not really a problem.” Alphonse Liu Second-year, Cowell, Chemistry

“Usually, I stop and listen to what they have to say. I’m really curious to what they have to say. I think it’s admirable that a lot of them put up with the rejection.” Livvy Stanforth First-year, Cowell, Anthropology
