
Members of the university rallied at Quarry Plaza to unite over the UCSC budget crisis. Pie-eating skit, platform for discussion, and the chanting of slogans made for an enthusiastic rally for rights.

Approximately 200 demonstrators gathered in Quarry Plaza at the UCSC campus on October 7 for a rally as a part of the national day of action for education.

Chancellor George Blumenthal appointed Allison Galloway to the position of executive vice chancellor (CP/EVC) Sept. 16. Galloway enters the position at a fiscally challenging time for UC Santa Cruz.
