Parkour, a sport that traditionally conjures up images of urban environments, is growing in popularity all over the globe, including here in Santa Cruz, as is evident through the increased number of parkour gyms and representations of parkour in the media.

From James Bond to Michael Scott, the parkour phenomenon is already popular in mainstream culture and has a thriving presence at college campuses across the country, including here at UC Santa Cruz.
