Go back in history with the “CHP Flashback,” a column that brings back articles from the City on a Hill Press archive.

Winter, February 15, 1968

This week’s post features a letter written by a former City on a Hill Press writer which reveals a personal account of  his experience in Vietnam after being drafted to fight in the Vietnam war.

Don’t forget to keep your eyes out for the up-and-coming City on a Hill Press feature that will report on the differences in war correspondence throughout history. Next to the Vietnam letter, in the same issue, is an editorial protesting fee increases instituted by the UC Regents. Sound familiar? You be the judge.
